The New York State Office of Victim Services (OVS) routinely enters into State Operations Contracts for services to support agency operations. Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises

New York State Executive Law Article 15-A ยง 310-318 establishes obligations for state agencies and contractors in order to enhance opportunities for minority and women owned business enterprises (MWBEs) in New York State. The objective of Article 15-A is to promote equitable access to economic opportunities for MWBEs by eliminating barriers to their participation in New York State contracting. The current New York State required MWBE goal is set at 30%.

Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses

New York State Executive Law Article 17-B governs requirements for the participation of service-disabled veteran owned businesses (SDVOBs) in New York State. The objective of Article 17-B is to expand opportunities for SDVOBs primarily through increased participation in New York State contracting. The current NYS required SDVOB goal is set at 6%.
