Radical Collaboration: Using Our Connections to Drive Inclusive Change

Facilitated by Eric McGriff and Lindsey Hennawi from Crime Victims Treatment Center, in this session, participants will learn how leaders can use their facilitation skills to promote healthy and inclusive organizational change. Change is hard. It requires us to challenge what we know, the status quo, and to tolerate uncertainty, which can be scary for anyone from frontline staff to executive leadership. Change in times of crisis is especially turbulent, but by making small changes in the ways we organize our everyday meetings, conferences, and task forces, and with proper attention to psychological safety, collaboration, and a groundedness in shared mission and values, leaders can better manage and embrace change for the better. Participants in this session will be provided with several successful models, resources, and strategies that are used across sectors, by leaders to manage change by incorporating a new facilitation technology that allows leaders to better connect with their staff, clients, and communities.
