Every year during this week of observance, victim advocates and community partners in Oswego County plant a tree as a symbol of hope and renewal for those whose lives have been affected by crime. Thus far, 17 trees have been planted in communities throughout Oswego County. This year's ceremony will feature a proclamation and speeches by Oswego County's District Attorney, the Mayor of Sandy Creek, and other local elected leaders.
