Motivating Staff in the New Normal. Webinar hosted by OVS on June 30, 2020 at 11:00am
While many victim services staff are strongly motivated by the mission, the stress and strains of the job can sap their energy and motivation. The stresses of the current situation compound this, as programs embark on transitioning to a new normal with their teams.
In this 60-minute webinar we will review core motivational strategies and learn how to adapt them to the current remote and/or partially back to office environments.
We’ll also look at how to tailor these strategies to each individual. This crisis is especially draining for leaders, so we’ll conclude with a few key reminders about how to keep yourself motivated and moving forward.
From this webinar you will gain key insights into what motivates people to do their best (or worst) work and learn strategies to maximize positive employee motivation, including:
1. What moves people to action
2. Key motivational strategies
3. Individual differences in motivation and how to identify and adapt
4. The supervisor’s role in motivation and how it’s changing
We understand that your programs are under unique forms of stress during this time, and OVS is here to help you weather the storm. In a changing landscape, readiness is critical, and this webinar series aims to provide the tools you need for long-term success.
